The life and routines in a fire station, where fire fighters are just part of the characters who inhabit the place. Behind the visible work, other people work on daily basis to mantain the building and the institution.

Louis Dickhaut arbeitet sowohl in Deutschland als auch international als Director of Photography. Neben diversen Fashion Spots und Musikvideos dreht er vor allem gerne fiktionale und dokumentarische Kurz- und Langfilme. Diese faszinieren ihn besonders dann, wenn der Mensch im Fokus steht und einen emotionalen oder psychologischen Einblick erlauben. Hierdurch findet Louis gemeinsam mit der Regie die passende visuelle Sprache für das Projekt. Seine Arbeiten liefen unter Anderem schon auf dem Cannes Festival, Berlinale , Camerimage, Max Ophüls und in Hof. Vor seinem Studium der Kinematografie an der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in München arbeitete Louis hauptsächlich als Kameraassistent.

Louis Dickhaut works both in Germany and internationally as Director of Photography. In addition to various fashion spots and music videos, he especially enjoys shooting fictional and documentary short and feature-length films. These fascinate him especially when the human being is in focus and allow an emotional or psychological insight. Through this, Louis finds the appropriate visual language for the project together with the director. His work has been shown at Cannes Festival, Berlinale, Camerimage, Max Ophüls and Hof. Before studying cinematography at the University of Film and Television in Munich, Louis worked mainly as a camera assistant.
