Sinopse

An essayistic documentary that tells the geomorphologic story of the ski resort Serra da Estrela. Starting 20.000 years ago, at the icy tongues of glaciers and ending with the snow machines that paint the hills today, it aims at the question, how we can continue to write the story in a more sustainable way.

Anna-Maria Dutoit is a Greek-Swiss filmmaker, who was born in Pittsburg, PA. She completed her Bachlors in Political Science and Geography in Munich and has been studying documentary filmmaking at the University of Television and Film in Munich since 2019. Her films have been shown at different national and international filmfestivals, such as Max Ophüls Preis, Duisburger Filmwoche and Ethnocineca.
